MONDAYS

Pickleball for Kids (K-5th)

Pickleball is a fun, fast-paced paddle sport that combines tennis, table tennis and badminton. Kids will learn the rules of the game, and will practice their skills through games. Once they have gotten used to the basics of ball striking and the rules of gameplay, they will work together as a team while competing in fun, lightly competitive tournament style matches. This is a great way to join in on the fastest-growing sport in America!

 

STEAMCraft: Minecraft Science (1st-5th)

In a world focused on creativity and imagination, Minecraft is an adventurous title that kids can’t get enough of. Have you ever thought about how we can apply some of those concepts to real life? This class will bring to life many of the in game experiences using SCIENCE! From Creeper slime to item enchantments, we will be putting on our lab coats and dissecting the wonderful world of Minecraft.

 

Cooking: Around the World (K-5th)

During this program, children will spend each day learning & creating cuisines from different countries & cultures. Throughout the course, children will collaborate while learning about the importance of safety & teamwork in the kitchen. They will master the different skills of cutting, like dicing, coring & slicing, and will also learn more about the customary units of volume, like teaspoons, tablespoons, cups, pints & gallons, all while baking delicious goodies!

TUESDAYS

Kreation Station (K-5th)

We will learn and use the various functionalities of a Cricut cutting machine. In this class students will work in Cricut Design Space to create their own design that will later be cut from vinyl and transferred to various items. Projects range from the following; T-shirts, tote bags, tumblers, greeting cards, and more! 

 

 

 

Dance Craze w/ Ms. Robinson (2nd-5th)

Does your child love to dance? Does your child love hip hop and pop? If so, then this is the perfect class for them! Dance participants will enjoy creative movement with pop and hip hop music. Kids will get the chance to express themselves while focusing on rhythm and choreography in an encouraging environment.

 

 

Kaizen Karate (K-5th)

Karate: this popular class is a disciplined introduction to the sport by Kaizen Karate. Your child will learn the beautiful art of karate while gaining safety and defensive skills in a respectful environment. The class will also emphasize the basic karate principles of focus, patience and self-discipline. Returning students will continue to work toward new belts while first time students will be able to start the belt program.

WEDNESDAYS

Engineer Race Cars (1st-5th)

Hit the racetrack with RoboThink! In this thrilling camp, students will not only build and race a variety of different race cars, they’ll also be learning about different parts of a car like the transmission, pistons and differentials! No prior experience necessary, just make sure to wear your racing gloves!

 

Cartooning Art (K-5th)

Young Rembrandts™ Cartooning curriculum uses a structured stepwise format to teach students to create their own animated characters in humorous settings. We break down objects and ideas into simple shapes, then use exaggeration, caricature, and personification to playfully construct our own cartoon images. Our Cartooning curriculum develops academically relevant skills, including spatial-motor planning, mental discipline and fine motor skills, while providing a fun, enriching experience for our students. New lessons every week!

 

Floor Hockey (K-5th)

Floor hockey is an action packed game where boys and girls move constantly. Kids will learn the basics of hockey in a safe, age appropriate environment and will learn to compete as a team with high effort and sportsmanship in each session. Each day will end with full games, but will begin with lead-up games and skill building to help them hone skills that translate across all sports.

THURSDAYS

Flag Football with Ms. B (3rd-5th)

Students will participate in various football skill practice and apply those skills to the game of flag football. We will follow and enforce the NFL Play 60 Flag Football rules. 

 

 

Foam, Slime & Potions with KidScientific (1st-5th)

Step into a world of captivating experiments and mind-blowing discoveries! Our hands-on camp will immerse your child into the enchanting realm of foam, slime, and potions, as we unravel the secrets of science. Prepare to concoct elixirs that magically change color, create your own bouncy balls, and whip up some homemade PopRocks that fizz in your mouth. Each experiment combines the perfect blend of creativity and scientific exploration.

 

 

 

Minecraft Creative Building (K-5th)

Spawn into a world of endless possibilities! Join us for a fun-filled Minecraft adventure where your child will learn to build, design, and engineer their way to endless creativity. In this class, your child will learn essential Minecraft/Gaming skills, including building techniques, spatial reasoning, block physics, and a taste of redstone engineering! Children will have a blast building their dream home, creating 2D art, cobblestone towers using lava, animal farms and more! This class is fun for children of all levels, from beginners to experienced Minecraft players. No device needed! Join us and let your child's imagination soar!

FRIDAYS

Wa-Sho! Learn. Cook. Eat Japanese! (2nd-5th)

The Wa-Sho program (https://www.wa-shokuiku.org) is an initiative from TABLE FOR TWO USA, a non-profit organization promoting healthy eating around the world. Wa-Sho combines the Japanese words “Washoku” which refers to Japanese food and, “Shokuiku”, food education. It is a series of hands-on classes on Japanese food and food culture for American students. Students will learn about food broadly from how to make iconic Japanese foods such as onigiri (rice ball), sushi rolls, miso soup, the importance of appreciation for those who both prepare and grow our food and food related concerns such as food waste and what actions they can take in their daily life.

Poppin Piano (K-5th)

Students will participate in a music group. Students will learn about the instrument as well as how to play in a music group.   

 

**FREE Rental instrument and curriculum included!  Instruments and music are intended for in class AND at home practice.  Rental Instrument must be returned at the last class.

 

Theatre: Dinosaur Drama (K-2nd)

Jurassic times call for Jurassic measures — it’s time to make some dinosaur drama! Join ETC to play all the best dinosaur-themed drama games and collaborate to make new dinosaur tales for that stage. Through games and stories, young paleontologists will gain a better understanding of storytelling and acting using dinosaur creativity.
